Sunken sidecar of doom.

Look at what I spotted from the new pedestrian bridge in the middle of town.

Its probably been there for 10s of years plus I think recovering it would be unfeasible as you'd have to free it from the mud and get it almost 1/2 mile up river to the nearest place where you could drag it ashore.

Maybe there is a bike attached to it--just still covered.

digger

You have to dig it up now, too many of us know it's there. It's what Indiana Jones would do. Think of it like the ultimate rat rig.

How did it get there?

Just the sidecar won't roll.

Seriously, there may be a motorcycle attached to it.

Someone may have driven off into the water.

G'day

Why doesn't someone just go to the bridge at low tide and see if it's fair dinkum or not (for those non Aussies that means to see if it's actually there or not).
Then when it's confirmed it's still actually there DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE F@#KING THING!!!!!

I don`t know why I`ve never bothered to read this Thread before now,but I`ve just read it from start to finish.

It`s fascinating.

And guess what ?????

That location is only about four hours from where I live.

How's this for a bribe . . . if you go dig it up, you won't have to read another 106 frustrating posts about it still being there!

A free (relatively soeaking) sidecar isn't enough incentive?
