Anyone hack a BMW R1200C?
I'm looking for pictures of a BMW R1200C with sidecar. Especially closeups of the mounts. Thanks.

I found one on sidecar.com forum. A 2003 BMW R1200CLC with Ural sidecar and plenty of photos.

Dauntless has bolt-on mounts for the R1200C. Highly recommended.
Great bike to hack, IMO -- lots of torque, it'll barely notice it's a tug.

Hacking an R1200C
Thanks for the links. I'm wanting to build the subframe myself. I've done a number of R1150GS subframes and now want to try my hand at this one. So if you have any pictures of a mounting or subframe for the R1200C please let me take a look. Thanks.

Beautiful rig. And those were the pics I was looking for. I can only hope the rig I'm building comes out half as nice. I'm mating this to a Donghai sidecar though. Equally vintage looking though.

That rig used to be in Asheville. I love that colour anyway, but it really set that whole thing off. Very tasty.

wasn't there pics around of some sort of BMW OE sidecar for the C. I think it had a bunch of really nice wood. Reminded me of an old Cris Craft boat. Retro & modern in one package.
