VFR Thread, How many of us have 'em?

I have one, I know of at least one more person on ADV has one, I want to see if we have enough on here to constitute a thread about VFR's. Heres mine although not the most recent or the best pic of it.

Nice Red, White and Blue VFR

I bought a 99 VFR800 new and sold it a few years later to buy a GS. That VFR is at the top of the list of "bikes I should have kept".

I got these ones http://www.vikingbags.com/street-bike-saddlebags.htm but I'm looking to upgrade, how much stuff can you store in them? Might start looking at some hard bags too, used though.. $$$$$

They're all Cortech bags, including the top bag. I have the same ones and have the Tri bag setup for the tank bag.

Wow a look back in time. Those were the days ....travel light! The tailbag is clipped to the saddlebags to steady them up.

I still have these bags, which were from Cortech/Tourmaster. They had two models: Sport and Regular which are the ones I have. I only use them for my KLR now and it looks like (after a quick sweep) that they are not being made anymore. They have a nominal capacity of 20 liters each plus the tailbag based on my recollection.

In the pursuit of comfort or at least to stay even, I have added a lot more crap especially when I camp which is most every time I tour. Here she is again with camping gear removed and setup back in camp.

My current rig has Hepco Becker Hard bags (30 liter) with SW Motech racks. I might add that despite all the extra stuff (bigger tent, much bigger pad, chair, pillow etc) I am not really more comfortable but I am at least still camping...this is what happens after 15 years on a VFR. The bike is still good ..............I am the problem now!

I like mine, I was coersed into buying mine by another ADV rider and I am glad I listened. Mine is the 25th ann. edition.

You've got to have a better picture of that beauty of a bike

I don't have one, but I lust after one just like yours!

Best. Colors. Ever.

Still got my '94 that I bought new. It's been to the tip of Newfoundland, Key West & Vancouver Island BC. Too many trips to Deals Gap to count.
