Texas Tag O Rama!

Several other states have started Tag O Ramas' so why not one from TEXAS!

Rules are easy...

#1 - Find the tag and reproduce the photo (as best as possible). The first person to post a found tag gets to place the next tag. If you get a tag, but somebody else posts their picture first, you lose.

#2 - Take the tag to a new location, get the photo and post it here. Give a few hints so the next person can figure out where the tag is located. Try to place the tags in interesting locations, maybe a bit of history that can be found down some nice twisties.

#3 - Tag must be a) findable and b) not placed on a dirt road. Maintained gravel is OK, but make sure to let folks know that gravel is required to get to your tag. We don't want to exclude those who don't like to get dirty.

#4 - File photos are NOT permitted. You gotta ride to play this game.

#5 - The motorcycle in the picture must get to the tag location under its own power.

Now that the rules are taken care of, here is the first tag.

Let the fun begin!

that is enough on the hints, let it ride for a while, Texas is a big state, might take some us a while to get there.

Do you need more hints?

Is someone heading to north north Texas over the weekend to "tag" this?

hello, is this thing on?

WTF is going on in here???

I am so confused.

What have y'all done to a very simple game?

Get a tag...leave a tag.

If I can travel 5 hours to get a tag...on a fuckin' Soft Tail Harley, so should you.

Pussy's.

Save the Texas Tag-O-Rama!

+1 Along the lines of the thoughts I was keeping to myself. This game seemed exciting but interest waned as the rails started to shake. One state, one tag! And what’s with the 24 hour rule. It’s a big state. The fewer rules the better. If an inmate takes too long to post the new tag just call him out—let’s cross the bridge when we get there; If folks can’t live without an hour limit how about 72 hours?

My two cents...laters, I'm going for a ride.

I have no idea what the 24 hour rule is and no intention of spending any time reading the back postings to find out WTF you're talking about. We split up the state 'cause those Houston POSes wouldn't ride to fucking HUMBLE and take a goddamn photo.

So we got tired of waiting for somebody down there to actually get off their computer and go for a ride. Oh, and nobody up here wants to ride to the Houston area. The hill country, yeah we'll do that, but Houston? No thanks.

You wanna ride up here and grab the tag? Go for it!

First off you wanna play..read the rules. They are in the opening post.

I rode from Houston to Ft. Worth to pick up a tag. Believe me, that's not exactly "The Hill Country" either. I RODE up there because the North folks were not playing. Sound familiar?

Now you want to bitch?

This isn't my game and is just my opinion.

So here are the rules as posted by Jhansen. You're saying I'm violated rule number 4? Wrong! I rode my bike down there and I took the photo. I posted it when Jhansen agreed with the split north and south from Temple. A stock photo or file photo would be a generic photo taken by someone else and purchased (or "borrowed" as happens on the internet). Although, I don't see the harm in having 2 current tags out there, so why don't you get on your bike and ride down to Austin county and take a photo and post it?

So, today, I'm planning on riding to where I think the current tag is posted by Ramblin66.

And Feo y Gordo is right. Which was why a split was brought up in the first place.
