Words of wisdom
Give big space to the festive dog that makes sport in roadway. Avoid entanglement of dog with wheel spokes.

Go soothingly on the grease mud, As there lurks the skid demon. Press the brake foot as you roll around the corners, And save the collapse and tie up.

I shitcanned the Lufty fairing couldn't even give it away, and I tried)

and reduced it to this, all of which is going to be powdercoated black (except tank and fenders) or Garnet Red - I am having a tough time deciding.

GSPD rear rack

Hello--I just saw a picture of your PD and noticed the Givi rack on the rear.I have the 52l case and mounting plate but haven't figured out a way to attach it to my '88 GS or '92PD.How did you attach your rack does Givi sell a mount that works for the GS or GSPD? Thanks.John O'Leary

Here is my 1985 R80G/S PD. Modified engine with a Siebenrock power up kit to 1000cc. Has a modified exhaust and runs a HPN 43Litre tank. WP rear shock and internally modified front end.

This is about 100miles east of Innamincka in Australia.

1st BMW ('81 R100RT)

This one started it for me. Had it not been for a daily 10 mile round trip on unmaintained gravel roads to work, I'd still have it! Ah, but alas! Some of us are allowed but one steed! So I got a GS, now.

First airhead.....

Brilliant to do, but in retrospect..... mmmm, leaving it unchanged may have been a better idea....
