there has been some really amazing photos of people getting there bike's across many kinds of water, using different kinds boats. lets see you best pic. i'll start, all though im using a really big boat

From my Costa Rica ride report last week. Crossing from Puntarenas to Paquera. Rainy season or not, I'd rather be there than back in Indiana.

My map showed a bridge.

Even if there wasn't a bridge, most of the rivers were dry and it was no problem to simply ride across.

I was in for a shock when I encountered a real river. This guy charged me $5 to cross, which was too much I think. I soaked my right foot unloading, as he could only get within a couple feet of the shore.

On the ferry across the Mississippi with my son.

On the Robert C. Lanier near Galveston.

The Caribou going from North Sydney to Port Aux Basques.

Going to Dauphin Island.

The Camille Marcoux from Matane to Baie-Comeau.

The Badger across Lake Michigan.

My bike being lifted by hand with the help of the boat tackle into our hold.
A few weeks in france for soem festivals and a cheap trip for the bike across the channel...

How many of these threads are you going to start? Ride Reports is the jewel in the crown of ADVrider... we have been trying to keep it that way and eliminating as many of these show us this and that threads... the older ones we're keeping and new ones get moved to the basement.
