Florida: Big Bend Tag-o-rama!!!!

How about we revive the BBTOR for the cooler months?

Game on!

The BBTOR occupies the territory bounded by the Apalachicola river to the west, the Suwanee to the east, and the Florida border with Georgia to the north; and points with a reasonable nexus thereto.

Rules much as before: since the object of the game is to get folks on their bikes when they might otherwise not be inclined to ride, file photos are legal neither for setting a tag nor for claiming a tag.

Tags should be located where a resonably competent rider can reach them w/o undue risk of injury or arrest. If a player doesn't like the tag location, his or her remedy is to claim it and move it to a place more suited to their tastes -- or to wait until someone else does.

Again, GAME ON!

And remember BBTOR found tags are here!

I was glad I got to ride with Area51 to grab that tag. I've been listening to him talk about it for months! I guess the tag was waiting for me to get a bike and ride with him.

Is this link broken or just not setup? I would like to see the locations of all the previous ones to pick a good spot for future pics!

Depends on what kind of parts you need. I check vft.org and vintagemx.us pretty frequently. You'll see a combination of different stuff pop up there on occasion.

I have 4 of them and some extras. What kind of stuff do you need?

exhaust for sure, side plates, cables, bearings, typical rebuild stuff. If I pass on it would you be interested?
I have owned it since 1992, it was rebuilt a few years before then and only ridden twice.

If the motor is good, then definitely interested.

I have most of that stuff; no cables or bearings, but I do have an ok set of side panels, a like new stock exhaust, and an extra head pipe somewhere. If you need cables, I'd go through motion pro; I snapped a clutch cable recently and had the replacement in 3 days.

All of mine, except 1, get used, and a bunch. The one in the picture is a work in progress; getting ready to redo the whole front suspension and put a new 34mm mikuni on, and start doing some vintage rallies and dual sport rides.

Took the Wee out and rode around there some today. spun the odo all the way past the 500 mile mark total

I started to post one from deeper inside the WMA, but to hell with it. you don't even have to get dirty.

Splendid grab. Can it be that the BBTOR is showing some signs of life?

Unlikely, but you never can tell . . .

If this incendiary pace continues, I'll revive the map . . .
