Wicked Northwestern VA Tag!

Northwestern Virginia tag...for those of us in the northwestern part of Virginia who don't want to ride forever to grab a tag. Let the game come to you!

This is roughly modeled after the highly acclaimed Valley Dual Sport Tag game found here...

http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=405166

Here are some rules:

1. Tag boundary: It has changed some over the course of the game, now incorporating some of West by god Virginia!
Take a look at the map.

Tag map: NWVA TAG MAP

~ The tag can be on any type of road and road surface...or even trails...(ie: Highways, Byways, Forest service trails, Legal trails) No interstates or "fee" areas. You can even incorporate a little hiking into it too! A prominent geologic feature or a trail intersection would be a good choice, waterfalls, etc. There are tons of possibilities! If the tag is placed on a rough gravel or dirt road, mention it so someone on a street bike will have a heads up.
~ Tags can be placed close to other tags, but not for the very next tag. It's got to move! If it is a previous tag, don't log in and post that it is. Keep em guessing!

2. Tag placement:
~ Have a cool spot in mind? Place it there. Don't have a clue as to where to place it? Look on the map for ideas.

3. Tag Photos
~ No file photos! You have to ride to play!
~ Your bike must be in at least one of the photographs.
~ Indicate the location of the mascot in at least one photograph.

4. Game play
~ If you are new to tagging, sit back and watch how it's played...It's pretty easy, then jump right in!
~ If someone PM's you for more clues and you decide to give them more they should also be posted in the thread to keep the game fair.
~ Chatter about the game, and other semi related topics is encouraged. I think it adds to the comradery of the game!

Good luck! Now let the game begin!

Just send me a blank check... I'll tell ya how!

I stopped and talked with the lady who works at my bank who rides.
She and her husband ride. I told her to check out the game. It would be great to have more local players.

I'm back from out West. Had a great time skiing and breathing the thin air at high altitude, kinda wishing I had the bike and it wasn't so snowy. Wait, I went to ski, had an epic time and still missed the bike. Can't have it both ways.
Pictures for your Christmas viewing.....

The Wife and I......

And I just had to get HIGH...... ( notice the sandals? )....

Hope the weather turns just it LITTLE so I can get the bike out of the shed and through the yard.....
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!

Utah's beautiful scenery almost makes up for the weird liquor law!! :} I went to Snowbird 20 years ago and still remember skiing toward the steep mountains in front of you....

Nice pic OMR! Glad you and Jackie had a good time.

I was beginning to think you two fell off the face of the earth. In a way I guess you did...hundreds of times.
