What rallies should be included in ADV Annual Rallies?
As the number of rallies created by members of this community grows, we need to get a handle on the events that can be posted here.
So reply to this post with the names of the rallies that should be considered ADV Rider Annuals. BYOB Westfest Eastern Rendezvous Cromag Rocky Mountain Adventure Central Rally SLAP W.M.R.S. Smokin Hole Rally Death Valley Noobs Rally Roll the Bones Rally

This subforum is really easy to keep track of as it is. Why change anything? That being said, the central rally is the best rally I've ever been to...it really needs to be on that list.
Edit: SLAP is sort of an institution, too.

Looks like you covered everything in the list unless there's one from the PNW ?
I have a question... (I'm surprised Klay didn't jump on this.) Did you misspell "Rendezvous" or is it spelled "Rondezvous" with a nod to the BMW Rondel ? |

There seem to be some others in Europe and Latin America as well.

PNW Wetfest, formerly known as the PNW Gang Bang.
The first 2 Gang Bangs were in '04 & '05. Missed a year in '06, then restarted in '07, under the new Wetfest name.

Any Fz1 rallies
Hi all:
My name is prasad and I live in Wisconsin. I am new to this forum just got my FZ1. I am looking to have some adventure in 2011 and can spare one week time if I know the time ahead. Can anyone tell me if there is good street (not off road) rally that is worth attending and where do I find this information. Quote:

Rocky Mountain Adventure Rally is an event that accommodates everyone's idea ... www.stromtrooper.com/events/58490-2011-rmar-si... - Similar [ More results from www.stromtrooper.com ] Might be a great event but it is organized thru stormtrooper.com and is not just an ADVRider.com event . Since it's open to other than ADVRider's it should be listed in upcoming not ADVRider Annual Rally. I'm not trying to stir up shit here , but you need to draw the line . Every great annual rally shouldn't be listed here , or it defeats the purpose of having a thread that is for ADVRider Annual Rallies.

The Sturgis Bike Rally
I have been to Sturgis since 05, on a hog 3 times before I was able to get off the (Harley)farm equipment and get a lazy boy(R1200GS ADV). I never had as much fun riding the Black Hills and surrounding areas as I did riding the BMW. Yeah I got a lot of one finger salutes, which I was more than happy to return, as I am a Harley rider too, but any way. The roads are great, and the trails were awesome and empty, except for the sound of bikes that have no idea that the real beauty is just a few miles off road, down the dusty gravel roads, and up into the hills and trees to camp spots free of yelling drunk weekend bikers, crowded streets and camp grounds. Sometimes you get the adventurous Harley rider, but its a rare sight. I wish more ADVriders would show up to the rally. If you are a TRUE bike enthusiast then I recommend that you make it to the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, not everyone is a jerk, a lot more riders are interested in the bike and what it can do, talking Harley rider to ADVrider about different rides and sights, all getting along.

yahbutt. its not an ADVRIDER rally, and thats what THIS thread is about.
advrider rallies are organized by advriders for advriders and aren't piggybacked on something completely different.
