Yup, I confess, I put this in the wrong forum. Didn't search road warriors. Please move or merge.

Here's my point. I can't tell you how many folks with "modern American" figures come in to the shop and would love to own a Ducati but can't. Body size just won't allow it. There's a large number of potential customers that don't have a viable option when they walk in to a Ducati dealership.

Are there other brands more well suited to these buyers...sure. Does this, however, open the door for Ducati for a new audience...absolutely.

Will it work? Who knows...

I think one of our (and by "our" I mean motorcyclists) biggest problems is that we say "oh, if this existed, I'd buy it." But when it actually does exist, or it is imported to the US, nobody actually follows through. Those plus size guys who say they'd buy a ducati are probably riding road glides right now, and have no intention of switching, Diavel or no Diavel.
