Show us pics of you on your first motorcycle

This thread is for photos of yourself on your first motorcycle.

I will start this thread with a pic of myself on the very first minibike I ever rode.

We were on a fishing trip in Eastern Washington staying at a family friends house when they let me ride this minibike.

I never did go fishing that day (my Sister and my Dad caught 22 fish) however I did do my first face plant when I tried to "jump" a big hole and Failed!

Here is the bike that started it all.

I could barely touch the ground back then too!

I was a bit older than you were. Here's me young and foolish about to pick up my first bike. And by pick up, I mean in more ways than one.

I wish I had a photo. It was a Rupp minibike, lawnmower engine, but had a gas tank in front of the seat just like a "real" motorcycle. I thought that was really cool. It was 1965 and I was 8 years old and was on top of the world!

You on your old mini-bike

My wife gave me a birthday card this morning (51 years) that had a picture of me on the mini-bike I got for my 8th birthday. I sat a stared at that picture for quite a while, it really took me back.

I figured there were probably others out there, so let's see them.

Nice thread!

My first bike was a 1979 Suzuki RM125. I wish I had a picture. I was 13 and couldn't reach the ground with both feet! It was a blast!

It was 1976. Believe it or not it was a 125cc 2-stroke Harley!

Here I am at 17 on my first "big bike"! I worked hard at a liquor store and as a security guy for over a year, and I was so proud to walk into the Kawasaki dealer and place all the cash in front of the salesman. I was the 2nd guy in my high school to have a bigger bike; most had 50cc's only.

Is that a Sears Drover, 3.5 horsepower? Looks a lot like my first mini bike!

Straight from the scrapbook. The cutline tells the story!

Rob was my older brother. And my Dad shot this photo. Both are gone now. Memories kinda hurt sometimes, too.

Paid a friend $1500 for this bike in 1997. Don't remember what year it was. Great first bike. Wish I still had it.

I also wanted to share this pic of me and my mom. Unfortunately she is wheelchair bound now and the days of her smiling and laughing are probably long gone.

And just to indulge, this is my mom and dad on my first bike and my favorite picture of them. He is beginning to feel the effects of post polio syndrome and she has parkinson's.

They think I am a little crazy for always wanting to ride especially in the rain.

I cant find any pictures of it but my first bike was a 1976 Yamaha GT80. Same as this one.

I was about 6 then. Now im 15 and im riding my very own 1984 XR500. That 80 was a sweet lil bike. I remember rebuilding it multiple times in our very small shed getting it ready for our rides. At the time my Brother (KLXplode) was on a 1979 Yamaha 175. Those were the good days. If i had the lights and stuff for it I could have made it street legal. Sadly its long gone.
