Your sometimes humble host at Bryce Canyon (my favorite Natl. Park)

A saga of Signal's days spent searching, chasing, and hopefully learning...

Koosherem Res., Fish Lake looms way up there....The old '99 F650, never should have sold that one.

The current ride- damn fine , Hwy 35- Wolf Creek pass near the top

Capitol Reef to Escalante/Boulder Mountain is through Dixie NF on Hwy 12

(there is a dirt crazy old road from Boulder toward Escalante know as "the devil's backbone" but don't have any pics I can dig out- yet)

Dixie Natl Forest also involves the area 'round Zion, Cedar Breaks, and some above Bryce.....

I have no idea what that means

With snakes in the desert, where possible, I make it a rule not to reach into/onto places I can't see (esp if it's hot outside and a snake may be hiding). Every rattle snake I've ever seen/found was easily avoided (even when young and dumber).

Back to business: A couple jeepin pics from the "fins & things" trail in Moab (near the slickrock bicycle trail)

A few new ones from Arches NP, taken late in the day, some sunset stuff.
One of the few time I wish I'd a better camera THe point and shoot doesn't do it justice.

Double Arch

A bit (minutes) later, darker

to the east of the double, check out the shadow/window

Nearby, the North and South windows

Out the North window

Lots more, but fade to black for now

I'll be in that area in about a week and a half... Your pics are awesome, and I'm totally looking forward to being there myself!
