I am a ghost, this is a dream, something is here...it calls to me.

Twenty-one days in Death Valley on an XR650R...alone.

Wanna go for a ride?

You can go, if only you believe...

and...You look real close

Cross the lines and the roads

It is there to decode

What you thought was a ghost

or...A spark to explode, is the start of the show

It's the part you love most

When your heart will implode within

Do you believe in hallucinations?

Silly dreams or imagination?

Don't go away, cuz I feel you this time
Don't go away, cuz I need you here this time

As the wind floats home

Carry us back to shore

End of the mountainous coast

Where the sun starts to glow

From our head to our toes, to the stars that we know

and...With you as my host, it will keep us afloat, begin

The silence is taxing

I'm waiting for something

There are images of love and war

and...Everything's here to explore

It's all alike, unusual
A different place, but beautiful

and...It is not quite as it seems

I hear the childrens laughs and screams

It's beautiful
So beautiful
It's beautiful

Do you believe in hallucinations?

Silly dreams or imagination?

Don't go away cause I feel you this time

Don't go away cuz I need you here this time

Do you believe in hallucinations?
Any dream or its revelation?

Don't go away cuz I feel you this time
Don't go away cuz I need you here all night
Don't go away cuz I need you here this time
Don't go away cuz I'm making you all mine

I owe all of my trips and 'Moments' of self discovery to my incredibly supportive wife...

Great start on your rr. Trying to figure out what road you were riding. Recognized the sign to the Hot Springs.

I have yet to ride North Pass and a bunch of other road in Death Valley.

Looking forward to more, more, more...........

Love these ride reports larryboy!

Read yours from before, then found myself riding the OBCDR this summer. Maybe DV next year? I'll blame it on you!

That's pretty funny, Todd!!! Drinking and smoking happens later in the story, it's almost like you were there.

Yeah, I'm kind of a regular now. I had found out that my good friend Green Turtle Jim had passed away and I was on a quest to find out why as the last time I saw him he was in great health at 72 years old.

Thanks for taking time out of your trip to look in.

Hiya, wachs!!!

Back out to the pavement.

The temps had come up since I'd been gone and Monitor Pass was open again. I think they plowed it so they could recover all the crashed cars from the snap snowstorm that caught everybody by surprise.

I didn't expect to see another bike, he was just as surprised.

There was a super happy Louie Dawg when I got home.
