Go Sportsters

I know there's a ton of sporties on ADV.

I'd rather see your modded-for-go bikes, but I'll take a looker too.
I just think it's about time for another pro sportster rally.

883, 900, 1100, 1200 I don't care.
I need ideas that don't involve more chrome, skulls or speedo-relocating.

My new-to-me 1200r.

Is that the ultra low seat?

How about a bigger fuel tank that will get you further than the next bar?

j/k

a word of advice - really ride the stocker before you get rid of the grandpa seat. The stock seat on those bikes is, by far, the most uncomfortable seat I've ever ridden. Really. I miss mine, but NOT that seat.

Many of the aftermarket ones are questionable too - the mustang sloped too much forward, so you got racked in the junk on every stop. Comfy otherwise.

That 3.3 gallon tank will take that bike 150 miles on the highway...

Get yer priorities right, Rider, the next bar is just fine.
Or: to put it another way:
I have a tank that goes 2 hours and a bladder that goes 1 hour...

Had a grandpa seat on my old '91. Put on a Corbin because I hated the look of it. Corbin was pretty nice. I think the best thing to do is to throw away HD's lame excuse for shocks and put on some real ones! I have had two different Sporties, loved them both!

Two very different versions of the same bike. Stripped down scooter, and touring bike with custom trailer/ This 2004 Sportster has over 81,000 miles on it.
