Daytona Bike Week 2012

Who is going? Where are you camping? I am heading down alone this time. It seems all of my buddies have legitimate reasons to back out this year. I usually camp at the Bcubed meet, although I may try the track this year. It seems like a good deal. I am riding down from South Jersey and usually take 13/17 most of the way. I avoid 95 as much as possible!

Colemanfu has stepped up and proposed a great meet and ride on both weekends of bike week. Info here http://www.advrider.com/forums/showp...&postcount=103

I will send out the email and cell phone list Sunday night. Make sure you PM me your info.
Ron

I plan on camping in the infield this year. Just look for the drunk guy wondering around with a white Uly and his camp.

Hope everyone has a safe trip. Plenty to do. Lot-0-fun! See ya at the tree house for free beer 4-5 everyday.
Remember, if you go up to IH don't park under the deck in the back.

Unless you want beer all over your seat!

I'll be going for the first time this year. I'll be with my dad who has been several times on his Harley.

Look for the guy in a hi viz jacket on a KLR (my dads, apparently my XR650R has been labeled by him as "too temperamental" but he could be describing me while working on my XR650R ).

I've never been, how out of place is a KLR going to be?

Heck I had a KLR 650 tech day at my house a few years ago and all the attendees arrived and asked where my KLR was? I pointed to my 2001 LC4E and said I dont have a KLR!
I will be down there the first weekend for the CCS races. Anyone who might be and want to hit Hooters for some hot wings just lemme know!

I have posted a link below to another ADVrider thread for those coming down to Daytona BW and camping in the Speedway Infields. We should narrow down the vicinity of where we will camp/meet up so that we can all find each other as we arrive into Daytona BW.

I called the track today and was told that TENT camping was available only outside the track. Cost was $100.00 for the entire period, must be out by noon
Sunday after the races. Pay when you arrive and register.

Might wanna check the schedule....there are no CCS races at Daytona this spring. Fall yes, spring no.
