I think there is a good selection, I stream through my ps3, but use my computer to search, seems to be more. I love 70s biker movies, check out chrome and hot leather, so bad its good. Another biker movie is called cycle south, kinda of old version of some adventure rider movie.

Cyclone is another movie with a bike in it from 1987. I think the guy is even wearing a Roadcrafter!

Among a few filmmakers I love Jack Tatti work, so simple so fresh and so funny, They are french but with very dialoge.
Netflix has three of his movies Playtime (Tempo di divertimento) M. Hulot's Holiday (Les Vacances de M. Hulot) And my favorite out of this three Mon Oncle (My Uncle) And one from Win Wenders, one of the most amazing directors of all times Buena Vista Social Club The rest of his work is only on DVD I also enjoy a "animated" movie call Captain ski and the world of tomorrow Because is very innovative in terms of film development I also have a many other favorites but they are only on DVD so I will not mention them here

This films from Akira Kurosawa are cinematographic legends
Seven Samurai (Shichinin no samurai) Rashomon (Rashômon) Yojimbo (Yojimbo the Bodyguard) Sanjuro (Tsubaki Sanjûrô) Kagemusha (The Shadow Warrior) Hidden Fortress (Kakushi-toride no san-akunin) NetFlix has a few other from him, But I have never see them so I can not really recommend them.

The Battleship Potemkin (Bronenosets Potyomkin)
director Sergei M. Eisenstein's masterwork remains a cinematic landmark

Interstate 60
Fun, wierd, funny road trip movie. Guy goes across the country to find a girl he saw on a billboard. AMAZING supporting cast. Gary Oldman, Christopher Lloyd, and Chris Cooper with an awesome appearance. It's quirky, and starts off weird, but if you stick through the first 20 minutes you will love this movie. njd screwed with this post 04-06-2011 at 06:29 PM |
