not 100% sure. We call them Mammoth Pools Beatles as thats the only place I have ever seen em(Sierra National Forest). I guess I should try to find out what they are.

Come on nobody else has pictures of bugs on there bikes? how about splattered bugs

Not harmless when you hit one at 70 mph. OUCH!

Yes they're June bugs, a type of scarab beetle. Here in Central Oregon they come out for a couple weeks in July.
