Tiny flashlight

I have been loking for a bright, HD made, tiny flashlight lately. The reason is a Sure Fire or similar sized tactical light is just big enough that is either needs a holster, or keeps getting in the way in my pocket, or if it HAS a clip, keeps getting pushed out of my pocket. On the way back from lunch today I happened by the Sportsmans Warehouse and spotted (among twenty other things I wanted) a PERFECT light for mu use when in either shorts, or dress pants.

Made by Streamlight, called the MicroStream, it is very bright (brighter than the rated 20l) and has a perfect pattern for a tiny light, well made flashlight. Plus, it has a run time of hours on a single AAA battery. And at only 20 dollars, I will buy a few to keep round the vehicles and bail out bag.

BTW this is shown about actual size on a 23in monitor.

1x AAA is a great size for a pocket light. I carried an Arc AAA light for many years. I've been using this one for the last couple years and really like it. I don't think I could give up having multiple output levels now.

What was the price?

I have been carrying a 1w led branded as "Sportmans Warehouse" for the last 3-4 years. It's been a great light, but the on-off button is having issues. It takes one CR123.

What batteries does this one use?

Forget the Streamlight marketing and babbling and buy something with better emitter at 1/2 the price.

I have purchased from DX several times in the past. One thing I recommend that a person be aware of, before buying from, them is that they have extremely long shipping times.

I would not hesitate to buy from them; however, I would be hesitant about placing a Christmas purchase with them this late in the year. Further, I ahve had to write to them to "remind" them about orders placed. Figure a shipping time of two to six months. If it goes over six months, write to then and remind them.

If this is a level of service that you are comfortable with, then, by all means, buy from DX. If you see yourself getting upset over late shipments, don't.

Just ordered this little light, it's just what I've been looking for, and as a bonus, Battery Junction is giving 8% off on any order on their website, even sale items. "Fallsave" is the coupon code!

Note: I have no affiliation with Battery Junction, I'm just passing along a pretty good little deal!
