2012 Scrapheap Adventure Ride - Kosciuszko - April 6-7

The time has finally come again to launch the Official 2012 Scrapheap Adventure Ride thread

So on April 6-7, 2012 we will be converging on Kosciuszko area.

We are planning a bigger event this year for all who turn up, on a Scrapheap bike or your usual ride

Adventure Moto will be arranging a Scenic 2 day ride from Sydney, leaving on the Thursday, as well as a loop ride on the Saturday! Thanks Steve

Our web page is still being updated. Registration links will not be up for about 2 weeks, along with plenty of information and updates. So keep an eye on it!

Rules are the same as 2010.

Start with a bike which cost less than $1000 and spend any additional sums on the bike to make it roadworthy, all machines participating must be registered.

Let the Scrapping begin

All funds raised support Down Syndrome Association of NSW

I'm in, not sure what I'll be riding as I sold sagy the other day and the new build is progressing at a glacial pace.
I'm guessing that it may be a bit cooler than the corner LOL.

How strict are the rego rules - are historic plates ok?

This year we invited some classic clubs to come along

So club plates are ok, also working on a MA solution that will allow UVP's - Unregistered Vehicle permits

Here we go again Pezz! I can hardly wait. Work has started on the mighty Tenere, and what of the XR460? What needs doing on it to get it to the starting line? I'm in for the Adventure Moto ride too

I'm in for that, where about's in Brisvegas you at?
I'll be going on the Dommi like last year as i won't have the time to do a scrappa.
Will possibly have a back up vehicle and a couple of extra guys that might be interested in coming.

im over near brisbane as well, if i get a new seat on my drz then ill take that but in the mean time its a scrapper.
i may have 1 or 2 other guys with me.
