Beta Tr32 -noob Q's
So, picked this up the other day.....
![]() I was toying with the idea of trying some trials stuff, but really I just wanted a beater, tight woods, not so heavy, play on the property type thing. As I get older, sometimes I feel like going slower I got this older Beta for cheap and other than leaking forks (and being cosmetically challenged) it's in decent shape. So, we'll see what happens. First impressions are that it doesn't seemed geared very low. I've ridden some modern trials bikes and they seemed to be geared much lower. And the suspension seems to be about 20+ years old Help a brudda out- What ratio fuel/oil should I be running? PO said 50:1. How much fork oil should be in the forks? Trans gear oil capacity? Anything else? Technical data on this puppy is a challenge to find.

So, this thing is a ton of fun. Much better in single track than my XR4 or KLR
Maybe raise the front fender and add a semi knob? Anyway, current issue- I broke the kick starter. The upper kicking part is connected to the lower shaft part by a stud that allows it to pivot or something like that. I broke the stud. Any ideas? Parts interchangeability? I'm going to check my spare parts bikes tomorrow to see if I have something that might fit.

You will find parts for a TR32 are next to impossible, so maybe a good idea to sell it while its still running, and buy something like a TY Yam which you can get parts for?

Should be the same starter as a Beta zero. Don`t screw up the kickstart shaft with the wrong part. Need to become friends with your nearest Beta dealer or importer.

You might try here. They've got tons of parts.
Mountain Motorcycle Ltd, Canadian importer of Beta and Sherco ...

My point was that while its still running its going to worth something, when it isnt and you cant get parts its not really going to be worth much at all.
