Hopefully this will work out OK but forgive me if the photos don't load.
The background was really easy, out taking a few pictures for fellow bike photographer, he's on the back of my bro's busa and I'm acting the goat on a 'wing. Cut long story short photographer jumps on the back of wing to get shots of the dash, over the shoulder, all action needles buried down the far right side. Busa keeps up. Wings needles buried deep down the right side and bus pulls out, I hit all the anchors, down the gears and aim for back of bus. Never one for fulling trusting the abilities of abs on bikes I got about 30 yards away and let off the brakes, swerved to to the left and then hit the anchors again sliding skidding meandering down the back of the bus and onto the grass verge where we stopped...only to hear screeching of locked up tires then that horrible bang. Brother had hit the buses rear tire then dumped the bike, snapping the frame at the head stock and spitting brother onto the floor.

however it did give birth to a mad idea of 2:1.
I'd built a Harris turbo with No2 many many moons ago and knew what sort of power could be had, whilst still retaining some semblance of handling

So it was with snapped frame and the mad idea of 2:1 when into the fray enters the MWG (metal working genius) I can turn stuff, mill, weld and fabricate however this man turns it into a work of art.
Could it be done....2:1?
Yup
When do we start
Give me bits and show me what you want.
I pulled out a pile of pics...something along these lines and turbo charged so its 2:1.
2BHP for every kilo

everything was logged...it was at this moment that I piped up
Nah...don't like it make it shorter...busa frame is too long...I wanna go meandering round corners.
Black magic was performed and two and a half inches was removed from wheel base...woo hoo

It was shortly after that the computer genius with an electronic paint brush worked his black magic and an artists impression was born.
The plot was thickened just so I could keep up... and metal was acquired, big chunks of gorgeous looking billet and tube stuff that was argued over and designated not strong enough and sent back. More tube came back that was larger diameter but thicker walled...shit started to happen. Machines glowed, sparks flew, huge ginormous girder jigs were jigged, I made the tea and we were under way.

This is the MWG at work...the following pictures are more 'art' than metal work however I'm sure you'll let me know.

Swarf making machines wrestled my lovely ginormous blocks of silver glorification away from me and did their job with gusto, side plates were machined...bags and bags of my blocks were little slithers of waste now but I had these

clever devilish machines that have nothing to do with sea food scallop stuff on the ends of bent tube... once you know how it makes joining frames together almost easy..ahem I think fucking not!!!
