Just picked up a CX650

Okay guys.
Spotted this on Craigslist yesterday and figured what the hell, I'd take a chance.
Starter seems to be seized so no start yet.
I'm open to offers to resell it to a more caring home or, I cafe racer it, still undecided if I have the time and patience to do it.
Right now I need an airbox and plastics, possibly a starter and a front tire.

Go for it

Looks pretty decent, and getting it back to near-stock should not be that difficult. I went through something similar with my CB550 - http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=87112.0 - a little patience on ebay will get you what you need.

I was afraid it was going to be the 'custom' model.

The C & Turbos were the only CX650s we got here in 'murrica.

I had a CX650 Euro in my early 20's...
Long time ago when Honda made decent bikes !
Pretty soon we can buy watercooled Guzzis brand-new again...
Not from Honda,though...

They are neat bikes for sure! My first real roadbike was an 80 cx500. Would probably still have it had I not developed the need for speed

I bought a new CX650T in '83 and what an amazing machine for it's time. I wish I had it in the garage.
