anyone know if the the town is still standing? we rode through last week, and the hills West of town were all scorched and the highway leading South was closed down. We talked to the owner of the store, and she said her house was spared (at least on Thursday), but her neighbor lost all his livestock and she was clearing out her store getting ready to evacuate.
Sure hope the folks there are OK.
