Modesto to Moab - looking for NV DS routes

I am heading to the Rawhyde event in Moab in September. The ride plan is just starting to come together. I have 4 days to get to Moab and am looking to ride offroad on my way across Nevada.

Does anyone have tracks/routes to recommend?

Plan is VERY flexible. I figured:
Day1 = Modesto to Tonopah.
Day 2 = Tonopah to Ely?
Day 3 = ??
Day 4 = arrive in Moab

Anyone have some advice to offer?

BTW.... Our group consists of a couple R1200GS/GSA, and a couple F800GS bikes. I am looking for big bike friendly although everyone riding is pretty solid offroad.

Thanks for the post. That route looks alittle further south than I was planning, but who knows!

I went thru a bunch of tracks on GPS Xchange last night and it looks like I might be able to link sections from a couple of them.

Does anyone have a resource for Nevada and Utah maps? I have California maps galore but not sure the best maps for NV and UT.

Bumped into BajaJoe and his wife near Salina UT. They rode from MiddleGate to Moab and back on a couple of DRs.

Also start with my SMTS for NV on GPSXchange.com but it is Dual Sport not Adv
