Rocco's Pizza - or - how I spent my first GNCC race -

I've placed an order for a large pie at Rocco'a Pizza. He's still not here and I'm getting hungry, perhaps he's stuck in traffic?

Rocco!

but the real fun was at Alex Snoops 3rd annual vintage day.

Alex is to Ossa what Hugh is to Bultaco to a lesser degree.

the weather was good so the turnout was good. Pat Moroney had his newly acquired never been ridden still had nubs on the original tires (not any more) 450CR and thats CR not CRF.

there were Ossa's everywhere you looked.

I had forgotten that the Phantoms weighed in under 200 pounds? does that sound right?

I'll go ahead and break the rule of posting IM's please don't ban me.

I got an IM today from Wolvreen, he tells me he is #455.

He just joined adv today!

This pic somehow found it's way to him in less than a day, either from Facebook or someone saw it here.

or he snuck into my house last night and looked at my pictures but I'm thinking he saw it on Al Gores internet.

so everyone say hello to #455 otherwise known as Wolvreen in advland.

I don't know who his friend is maybe a pizza delivery man running late?

Rocco!

you can't make this stuff up...since the GNCC in mid september I realized I had more pictures of 521 from local MX races and realized he was somewhat local. I found and friended him on Facebook and we chatted a time or 2. I took more pictures of him at a few events recently and did the drive by posting of them on his facebook. tonight I decided to post one of the "good ones" he hadn't seen yet and I go to his facebook page and all this posting about...bad news. luckily not too bad but heres this kid laying in a hospital bed with a broken femur and all his friends are wishing him a quick recovery blah blah blah. ouch. here's a guy who's going to Adirondiack Community College to be an accountant, going to races in his Ranger pick up and working to try and keep up with his "hobby"..putting on the big gas tank for a GNCC and riding motocross practically every weekend and this is his reward..sometimes this sport really pisses me off.

and from 2 weeks ago under better circumstances..

get well soon Jake Church.
