Renamed? It has been the SFV650 since it came out.

SFV650 is to Gladius what VFR800 is to Interceptor.

The name's the same as it ever was and it will continue to be an ugly, underwhelming, poor selling bike.

They dropped the GLADIASS name and stoopid commercial it looks like.

No more SV650's either.

So long as the 2012+ DL650 is still the 'Glee-Strom' I will remain a happy man.

On their website under features they call the headlight "stylish". I call it fucking ugly. Replace it with a standard looking SV650 headlight and you're back in the game.

Amen.... between Triumph's fugly bug eyed setup on their street triples, Kawi's Versys cyclops, and this gladdy "thing, what is up with the amazingly ugly styling these days?

Some how these bikes are making normally ugly bikes like the GS and my Vstrom look good. I thought the original SV650 was a nice looking bike, bring back that "normal" styling and put the updated gladdy motor in it.

It kinda mirrors truck designs and more than a few cars. Once upon a time styling was supposed to produce attractive things, these days it appears as though "stylists" go to great pains to produce unattractive things.

Too much plastic on it :(

I want a cheap, light, midsized "roadster", dammit! (with ABS, of course. and options for luggage and a tall screen). So many "almosts".

Neither of those are sold in the US, Cortez. We get the NC700X (ABS only available on DCT) but not the NC700S. And we get the Ninja 650 (and finally ABS this year!) but not the ER-6N.

But then I got a 2009 Kawaski 650 Versys ...Parallel Twin...and after 25,000 miles , with a Yoshimura Pipe..the engine does'nt sound as sweet when twisting the loud handle my next bike will be a 2013 Suzuki Wee Strom 650 with custom twin pipes , carbon fiber music makers...Braaaaap... Or...Please Suzuki Please...take this brilliant 650 V Twin motor and build a Supermoto style urban assault weapon ...Yeah thats what I would buy... SV 650 SM ....17 " wheels , and a good upside down fork with dual disks , a small fly screen , and a headlight that looks normal , Please...Hmmm . something like a Aprillia Dorsodura 750 but Japanese, you know , cheap to own...
