Laugh where did my post go?

I started this thread -
http://www.advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=828821
But as you can see, for some reason it has dropped my original post to which JimWit kindly replied. I spent ages formatting it and adding photos, and now it has gone! I saw it working just fine, but then when I made the post entitled 'Day 5' it had gone.
Thanks for any help/advice in advance.

There have been no edits to the day 5 post.

Can you be more specific about what you believe to be the problem?

He is the thread instigator and the threads opening post is missing.

Cry sure

Sorry, of course.

The problem is that the first post which started the thread has gone. At the top of the thread is in fact a reply to that post by another board member.

I first noticed that the first post was missing after adding the reply entitled 'Day 5'.

It would be great if that first post could be resurrected, as it is an introduction to the adventure story, without which the whole thread is improperly framed.

I hope that is clearer.

(Strangely, if you hover over the thread in the Ride Report forum, you get a little popup containing the first few lines of that missing original post...)

OK, I see what you are saying.

Never seen that happen before.

I'll ask around and see what we can do.

I think it was caught in the moderated post queue. Check now... should be good.

Sorry to hi-jack here but looking for answer to similar problem I am experiencing and found this thread. I seem to have related issues with a post I attempted to edit moments ago in my thread in the Daily Trip Report area titled Crab Fishing Oregon Coast W/ Crater Lake Stop.

My second post was apparently in what is being called the mod que, though at the time I believed it was lost in space, forever gone. I wrote up another with additional pic's and a finish later that evening. Came back this morning to remove the second post when it all of a sudden appeared this morning and did so with the nuke button. Then went to edit the final post I had spent a bit of time with, clicked edit and it was also now gone. Any thoughts? Probably related to being new here, but would like to get sorted out if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks. Joey

EDIT - Problem fixed when posts appeared again after 15-30 minutes. Please ignore this post. Thanks. Joey
