We are planning to go on mid May to those countries,
does mid May might be problematic, whether wise?<o:p></o:p>
In spite of the 5 hours drive We were highly recommended to rent the bikes in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">Germany</st1:place></st1:country-region>.<o:p></o:p>
Does it make sense? Are there any good bike renting places in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:country-region w:st="on">Slovenia</st1:country-region></st1:place>?<o:p></o:p>
Interested in site seeing and a little bit of hiking if possible.<o:p></o:p>
Any "don’t miss" roads, views, places or trails? <o:p></o:p>
The plan is to have 10 gross days (with flights)<o:p></o:p>
Is it to much to drive? Can someone recommend on a full cyclic route?<o:p></o:p>

Last year I spent 3 weeks riding a BMW F650GS thru Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro & Bosnia. I was solo - awesome adventure, no problems.
I used Adriatic MotoTours in Slovenia. I rented the bike from them. They booked the lodging, provided maps & GPS navigator. Check out their website - they are Eastern Europe experts.

They are also known as SMTours. My wife and I have ridden with them twice and we also did a self guided tour once with their help and their bike. Matej's people offer outstanding service. I'm NOT a tour or group rider, but they are different from the typical tour operator in many good ways, so we're going with them again in AUG 2103 - this time we are using our own bike.
