Honda C90 with issues....gotta fix it and mod it of course

I`m the one with issues not my C90, LOL, but it`s that time of the year..........fix-a-scoot time

the victim : 1998 Honda C90 in some very nasty conditions....bought it for around $ 260 USD







so the tear down began.....



upon closer inspection.....the tail section is shot.....will have to mod it......so down it goes....





and WHAT THE HECk is this? this can`t be good....



I KNEW IT...........



oh well.....time to get crazy.....







bring out the mini lathe....make a 4 inch extension...LOL....





now that`s more like it....straight as an arrow...





now just got to weld the deep anchor points and keep going...till next time....

there seems to be an inner and outer tube, I have no clue if that`s how they come from the factory, but it measures 11mm in thickness for both tubes

I bought a new Chinese Honda Passport clone that came from the factory with the head welded off center. I replaced the Chinese frame with a real Honda frame. It was welded correctly.

By the way, good job.
