My '73 Yamaha 125. This is the bike I wanted when I was fourteen, way back when. Of course, dad said no. In 2000, when I was forty, I finally got one. My fifteen year-old daughter rides it now.

That was the first bike I ever owned. Bought it in about 1978 with paper route money. Put knobbie tires and a motocross front fender on it and proceeded to try to maim and/or kill myself on it. Good times!

Unfortunately I don't own either of these anymore

PE250B with a RM250C exhaust fitted

Purchased new in Dec 1978 and I only sold it about 4 years ago as it had been sitting in my Mothers garage unused since 1980.

My younger brother had a propensity to come home from rides with his bike in this sort of condition.

Forerunner to the PE series. A 1974 TM125 chassis fitted with a similar age TS185 engine. Fully street legal.

Here's my '73 XL250. I'd love to put a MT250 next to it in the garage.

Very cool! I had a 1972 XL250 my self! I regret selling it. I traded it straight up for a 1985 RM250. That was a pretty fun motorcycle as well. Those XL250's are great reliable bikes though! I would ride accross the country on one if I could.

I have one awaiting funds for restoration and it still runs...
I could be convinced to part with it ;)

Nice 360 ~ Had one back in 79. bought it off my neighbor who tweeked it a bit, bored, piped and diconnected the oil injection. Man what a ride. That thing would pull my arms off, that is, when it wasn't rejecting my knee into the bars after trying to start the beast.
Have fun with that one!!

This was taken in the early 80's of me on my Yamaha 250dt.

Loved it. This got me hooked on trail bikes.

Then I got a DR 400 Suzuki outside the family home.

My latest bike is this..............
