Tiger 1050 Mileage
Any known issues with high milage 1050's. I'm shopping for a used one, and I've found one in my price range, only thing is it has 48,000 miles on it. I have no idea of the histoy because it's at a dealer. I'm actually trying to trade a 2011 FZ8 for one, and this one may be an even swap. Just wondering if these bikes devolope gremlins as the miles rack up.

Well, I've found a 2009 with only 4,300 miles, so that's the one I'm going to go for.

Been thinking of selling my VFR and getting a 1050 myself. I miss the seating position of my weestrom but want more power.

just flipped 100K on my '07 . . . . . tires, gas, oil, three instrument cluster circuit boards (all covered in warranty), and a Voltage Regualtor (not under warranty) . . . . .
Love the bike, still . . . . .

100k
I know a guy in phoenix who has 100k miles on his, without issue. He is an exemplary mechanic who performs all his own service. Point is, if the bike has been well cared for, it still has a lot of miles left in it.
