Raspberry Pi
Just took the plunge. Been a fan of Linux for awhile. Like the minimalist approach here. Minimalist...yeah! Didn't go minimalist on the case I got for it but, that's kinda how I roll!
Anyone else running one of these? The whole computer: ![]() The (over the top) case I got for it:

I plan on getting one or two, mainly just to play with (robotics, servo controller etc etc) and possibly one to run a 24/7 webcam I have out in the garage.

Awesome case.....though I'm scared to ask the cost considering the computer itself is 35-50.
I'll probably get one soon and go the lego route:

I've got a huge bin of 80's vintage ones somewhere in storage.
Edit: Just went on Amazon and Lego wants 60 bucks for 9 pieces :eek they are the big bottom ones.....larger than the pi but still they probably cost 4-6 cents each to make.

Sorry to be off topic here, but this appears to be a new bubble developing
http://www.squidoo.com/the-value-of-legos I guess the Wall Streeters got bored of stocks and real estate. Give it a few years (maybe less), the bubble will pop, and lots of folks will have storage units they can't keep up with any more. |

I talked with a client today about using these to display simple videos on HDTV's. It seems like a good, small, and cheap solution.

Cool, thanks. Will have to order a couple and test them out as inexpensive thin clients at work.
