KTM 990 injection fuel pump reasonably priced.

This fuel pump originally made for cars is made in China. Chosen from a big manufacturer is undergone surgery. It ends up a nice fit in place of the original fuel pump. Rated at 3,5 bar at 90lit/h, pressure and quantity is adequate at all times while it costs 40€ including p&p.




The elastic base which holds the fuel pump from turning when it starts and stops. The lower side of the fuel pump needs to fit in the rubber cavities. So some surgery was needed.

Upper side of the pump had some extra plastic around the connections that needed removing. Here it is after surgery.



The shape of the original fuel pump differs slightly to the imitation so the smaller supporting cage is not functional. The outer larger cage needs some spacers in order to reach the aluminum pump nest, so longer bolts and nuts rectify that imperfection (included).



The bronze little pipe falls short now so an aluminum spacer flange is included to sit in the pipe's nest and keep it from bottoming. This way the pipe seals properly to both its ends.
So a complete set includes 2 longer bolts 1.5cm M5, one flange spacer in aluminum, 2 nuts and an o-ring 60X3 viton, sealing the fuel pump assembly, shown in the above picture since it usually gets damaged. I also include a small o-ring at the intake of the pump to ensure sealing at intake.
Delivery usually takes between 14 to 18 days.
