If you had the money for three bikes which would they be?
One of the things I think about when killing time. Thought it would be nice to hear from you guys.
For me: Goldwing Xr650l Less than 300cc scooter.. Not sure which one though. What would you guys have?

I will have to give this one some thought. The problem is that I change my mind to often.

Harder than I thought
If I had to make a quick decision. Pretend a genie offered I would say:
R1200 GSA With all the goodies from Touratech plus a set of cast wheels and sticky rubber to commute/tour. Ducati Desmosedici rr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-VBiP...e_gdata_player Vincent Black Shadow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ETFVY...e_gdata_player But if I had all the time in the world I would never have a solid answer.

2 months ago an 83 year old was telling me in 1952 he bought a Vincent black shadow. He join the Royal Canadian airrforce and just abandon in Courtney BC. He had no idea what they are worth today and no clue what happened to his. I ve thought were did it go. Did it get road into the ground, is it left in some house still ?

Get the three that have the highest immediate resale value.. then sell them.
Fly to Vlad. Russia buy a bike and ride it westwards. If that gets to the coast, ride south... get to the coast ? sell and go elsewhere and buy another bike and ride ... when the money runs out go home. It is not about the bike/s... it is about the ride/s. |

Right now I have a 2009 Zuma 125 and a 2011 Versys. If I was to add something to this current stable I think it would be a retro bike. A new Bonneville would be cool but so would a late 70's Honda CB.
If I was starting fresh with 3 all new bikes and money was not really an issue I would probably do a Harley of some sort. An 800cc adventure bike, and a freeway capable scooter. |

3 bikes
That'd be hard. I guess I'd sell the Versys and RZ.

My Citycom 300i. They are no longer sold in Canada and not on the approved list for import from the US so I have to take really good care of it. There is nothing else I would rather have.
A 400 Burgman for camping touring and my 1000 V-strom. I would put a new windshield on the Strom, It already has a custom fitted gel seat. That's all it needs. |
