All I know about Teng is that Edd China from Wheeler Dealers seems to like em, or gets them for free. I've never seen them, now have I heard anybody even mention the name.

Teng are very popular tools in UK and in New Zealand. I'd rate them as better than average. In those markets they are sold with a lifetime warranty.

Teng are probably the best of the Chinese tools, as good as those Chinese tools branded with a more famous name. I've been using a Teng composite 1/4 drive ratchet for over 7 years now, I like it so much my Snap-On ratchet is relegated to my motorcycle tool kit where it is hardly used, the Teng get used every working day.

I've had a 1/2" one for about 8 yrs. It works well. I have a few other Teng tools also, it is nice mid range stuff. I like Ko-ken better for ratchets though.
Cheers Clint

Thanks for the reply! I hope they are up to par and calibrated properly because I'll be using them for head work on my 990. The company is ISO9001 certified and the tools I'm getting are brand new so I think I'll be okay.
