Honda Cross cub

was reading a article of a new CBR 400R then on the bottom it mentioned honda will be making a bike called the cross cub looked at some pictures seems to be a homage to the old CT110

Does look like a perfect reinvention of the CT!

Did some searching and it seems it's a concept. Might have dual range from what I could read, everything is in Japanese. I doubt we'll ever see it.

Visordown just had a small article on the Cross Cub. Maybe they will start EU distribution next year?

If that Cross Cub ever makes it to the U.S., I will probably trade my Zuma 125 for it. Having real gears means it will climb and there are no belts to break. Hopefully the Honda will be a bit sturdier than the Symba.

Coming from a dirt racing background, that was what swayed me away from scoots. I thought, "shit i could easily get stuck!" (on any steep incline). I would have any Zuma for town and some light off road, but a ct or cub etc will get you to some crazy places. God Bless and long live the cult following these bikes have, I'm totally in.

So what is a Cross Cub? Looks like an old CT110 with more plastic and redundant tubes and without the dual range gear box. My old CT90/140 would beat it in every way except for looks. Lighter, more rugged, more power, WAY cheaper.
