Mapsource Waypoint
I have 50 or so .gpx files that are waypoints. Is there a way to open them all up at one time using Mapsource Topo?

not that I know - but GPX is a file in XML format, it's easy to open them up and concatenate them using say Notepad++ (free text editor)

You could just open up one Mapsource window as a "master" then open up each .gpx and copy/paste the waypoints into the master file.

Even if you could open all 50 files with one click they are still 50 seperate files that can only be viewed 1 at a time. Like outlined above, bite the bullet and copy each waypoint to one "master" file then it is done for life.

If you're using OS X (or Linux), I can write you a quick and dirty script that will combine multiple GPX files into one but for Windows, it'd mean installing add'l software.
Let me know... |

However, you can use other software such as gpsbabel to combine them into one. For examples, see http://www.gpsbabel.org/htmldoc-deve...ced_Usage.html If you are using gpsbabel with M$ Windows: In the file-open dialog, press and hold the CRTL button; then you should be able to select more the one file from the listing. Here, all selected files must be from same type (GPX).
