Bosnia & Croatia (off) Road Trippin'

Hello.
This is my first post here, very nice place to be,
been reading for a long time, and it is time to write something
to give a small contribution to this very nice place.
I am not a very good photo maker, or a writer, but I do
my best

My first offR

Will not talk much, be happy.

My first off ride took place in Bosnia
(my home country) near city of Livno
(my home town) on the way to Kupres,
towards old Roman town
Stržanj (Stridon, has lotsa names).
The town doesn't exist anymore, but
I've heard stories of it having 40000 people
in its best times. It all disapierd, and all
that is left is a medevial castle or something
and a few houses. My grandmother was born
there, and in 2.world war escaped to Livno
(she was a Partizan and escaped from Ustaše)
Talking too much.

















On this pic the remains of a castle or a fort are visible, no clue of a town, or anything. But the story is true.

It was a hard ride for a beginer, had very hard uphills (or downhills ) and my first river crossing. Also mud and rocks.

River Šuijca is exiting from the underground in Stržanj.
Bosnia is very beutiful county, the nature is untouched
because off the war here and lotsa landmines. This place was
the front line for a long time in the war.

Later, the same day,pics all around Livno, river Sturba, Borova Glava
(and wild horses (I will write later about them)) and so on.
