What vintage trials bikes were most desireable back in the day

B&J racing is where the majority of the parts came from to build my 75 KT in the above post. The Domino throttle is great. These also carry a sprocket set for a good price for the KT. Still is seems Yamaha parts are easier to come by.

Rode the KT Kaw and it did very well in TN. Didn't ride the BUl as the KT was a new experiment with the long rod and wanted to see how it would do. Tough, never quit, little motor I found. If a bike does well in TN it is good anywhere in the country. I also recommend a KT250 especially a B&J 255 as well as a Bul and a TY. All bikes capable of winning your class and making life easy on U.

The search for a bike has been lowered on the priority list for right now. My Father inlaw's health is failing so we are doing what we can to help him out.

On a lighter note most of the bikes I have seen on the web are at least a day's drive from me so I have to plan some to arrange to see stuff. There have been some great looking prospects but we need to sort out family matters before I can move on to that.
This is a good diversion however and I am, sure I will find a good bike.
I have seen a couple of Kawasaki KTs out there that look promising.
