There's a note on the Fraser Honda in "Four Stroke Finale".....
![]() It basically states that David Fraser Products (Redditch, UK) produced a chrome plated kit frame, including replacement sump and assorted mounting bits reputed to reduce weight to a competitive (for the time?) 209 lbs. Also 312 cc piston kits and other goodies. I've never seen one in the flesh but if it added ground clearance as well, it would have been a marked improvement as this and weight were the TL-250's major vices in my experience. Still, 209 lbs is as heavy as some 500's in pre-65 class trials competition these days!

Fraser
There were a few frame kits provided for the Honda TL's including this one, the Seeley frame and the Miller High boy frame.
Most were reputed to get weight down to 200 lbs or so, which was a useful improvement. There's some old tests on the latter here: http://www.twnclub.ch/classic_trial_...250Highboy.htm

There might be a few floating around the UK (considering it's source) so perhaps a few posts in a "Honda" or "Classic" trials forum there such as at Trials Central etc. along with other internet research would be in order. Someone will know them. Good luck with the project and yes, post some pics when done! |
