Has anyone read "Not all Ringers & Cowboys" ?

It's a few years old now but still gets the adventure juices going.

Lucky bugger being paid by the ABC to ride around OZ twice on a bike..

I'm reading cos I can't get to my bike yet due to fiscal matters..

I bought it over a year ago, but havent read it yet

I am not a big book reader, need to be "in the mood", and as yet, havent been in the mood
I lent it to one of my work mates, and he said it was good reading.

Reading it right now, Smelly. He's got a good writing style. He seems fairly straight forward in his description of the places and folks he meets. Shame I missed the radio series. Might search for it at the ABC website later on if the book inspires me enough.

I read it in one go, started one afternoon and finished before I went to sleep. Top read, two thumbs up

I have seen him at BMW in Adelaide a couple of times.
He goes in for a look, and a ride every now and then. He is good mates with Bruce there,

Library?

Try your local library.
Ours has cassettes of his 2002 trip around Australia called Half way Round.

The first time I heard him was "Asian Welding Tales". It was played on Triple J around 1997.
