I talked to the Staions Inn owner today they still have 10, $75 rooms A a few $85, cabins up the road a mile. They also have a $125, (2cpls) cabin on a pond, stumblin distance . Osbornes has a few rooms left ,$75 and they have a few cabins also. It would be my guess that most of the rooms will be gone by Jan 1. Maybe sooner

Check the dates , the rally starts on thurs . Gives time for preliminary warm up drinking and bench racing!!!

I will be there wed afternoon to set up the beer garden and Rally central , which will be behind Freebornes near the campground.

I think I got one pal and northwoods as good quality "ins" for this as well as myself..I need a trip bad..it's been over a year and I'm freaking..Northwoods and myself were at the rendezvous in 06..it was a good time..got me going on the central rally two years later..I miss those roads..did a cross country to California and an Arkansas trip since then..but nothing like good North Carolina/Tennessee Roads for a big trailie

Now the question is:
Do I trailer the KTM to Kentucky and go from there..or buy a strom/tiger type and ride all the way..I'm leaning on the latter???

Another option - MZCountryboy's rig, taken at Cromag '08:

There's a nicely setup Tiger over on tigertriple.com, too...make a good long distance yet highly dirtable rig...
