Vespa 300 Super owners speak up... - Page 4

GB,

I spent the entire weekend up at Lake Tahoe swimming in a storm of Vepas and the 250 and 300's are nice little machines.

The 250's and 300's sure a fun little rides ad they did pretty good two-up climbing the passes there. I am going to guess there were 20 (or more) of the big boy Vespa's there

There were several Big Ruckus's there as well as a pretty blue T-Max, and several Kymcos including 3 People 250 (both S and vintage) and an Xciting 500. Several Majaesty's and Burgies (in both sizes) and one guy with a 1961 Tourist. We had Gilera scooter and couple no-name china scoots and one Lance that was SLOOOOOW

The white has a nice classic look and it is easier to fix up when you get the nicks and dings the metal bodies tend to collect over time.

The red is a nice color too. It just looks fast. I think the black is cool looking but I think it shows wear and other imperfections more than the other colors. You also become invisible at night and that is not always a goo thing on a scooter in traffic.

Just that observations of someone who spent hours looking at Vespas over this weekend and all of their sexy flowing lines.

The thing I love about the GTS300 is that the expectation isn't as high as it would be for some hot motorcycle, so when you actually do a bit of naughtiness on it the surprise factor is that much greater. I love tweaking guys on big, loud Harleys at stop lights.
