I yam here, dammit!

The delivering company picked the bike up a bit late, and I was tracking
the "package" to find it arrived in my home town some 45 minutes ago!

If they don't call in the next hour, I WILL.

I'd already be there in the warehouse picking it up, but the scoot has
no tags/licence plates and I don't have a trailer.. so.. gotta wait for them
to come to me.

After a quick snapshot.. bunch of paperwork is awaiting!
With some luck I'll finish it today, but it might have to wait until monday

Not that I'd ride much at 23F and snow all over .. but.. :)

Such a kick-ass clip. I'm going to guess they shot that sequence without a permit!

Hard to believe it was remade in 2004 with Jimmy Fallon and Queen Latifah. That turd of a movie literally fell out of Hollywood's pantleg and rolled into the sewer.

Driller: if you haven't gotten a scooter yet, I noticed Myers is doing a winter blow-out on their '09 models. Stupid-cheap.

If I missed an obvious post where you already pulled the trigger...I'll take the ridicule for being blind.

Not yet. Been waiting for some clear weather to get up there so I can test ride the Rat. I got out on a used one in the area, but it was gummed up from sitting too long. Hopefully a fresh one at the dealer will be more inspiring and tip me over the edge.
Thanks!

Oh, it'll tip you over the edge... they are crazy fun.... ear-to-ear grin fun. Especially if you have other scooters to ride with.

Riding bunch

Having a crew zipping around on similar bikes is always soooo much fun.
There were three of us who rode KLR250's around the White Mountains in New Hampshire. Like three squirrels chasing each other.
Is there a mob you ride around Greenville with?
It sort of annoys some of my riding friends on their big cruisers when riding my Majesty.
Don't know if it spoils their image having a scooter hanging with them or the fact it keeps up with them and dogs them in the turns.

I see a "Raid The Grade" in the spring. A bunch of scooter riders running around between Saluda and Tryon. I know you know 176....

Classic!!
I commute on a orange Buddy 125 and it's pretty damn fun. 2.5 miles each way!

Only issue I have is scraping parts on my one set of S curves

Oh yes, been on all the good stuff... mostly motorcycle, but on our trip to Deals Gap, did it on the scooter. Oh geeze what freaking fun. Especially Deals Gap. Stayed right on top of some motorcyclers. I'm sure they were shocked to see me on their arse.

A few of the guys at Touring Sport have scooters and girlfriends/wives with scooters. Another has a Royal Enfield which is pretty much scooter speed - haha. There is s chick in town that has a Pink Stella, but I think she's moved to Charleston During the late summer and fall, once a month we had a "taco tour" night. So motorcycles and scooters all came together, meeting at Handlebar and we'd hit a couple of the authentic taco joints. Good times.

^^Cagers hold'n us back

^^Pinup girl themed taco tour night

^^Some of the scoots, but had a LOT of bikes and scoots show
