Looking for dual rides around SLC
I am in need of some help locating some dual sport rides around Salt Lake City.
We are heading to Miller Motorsports Park for the WERA National, where we will be racing. There will be three or four of us, and abilities will vary as will the type of machines we will be on, ranging from drz400 to v-strom 650. I am not looking for anything very difficult because of different off-road capabilities of the bike and persons. We would not rule out a multi day loop and I actually would prefer that. We are looking to do three or four days of riding in between the National and WSBK weekends, May 24-28th. Any suggestions, waypoints, and/or maps will be greatly appreciated.

Hey
I have some good stuff South around Orem/Provo. You will be pretty hard up for anything with dirt just yet seeing as how the snow is still on most of the mountains. If you want suggestions and some tracks though email me on here.
Thanks Ty

Orem/Provo?
Ty,
Would love to hear anything in the Orem/Provo area - my office is in Provo so that's convenient. Snow up in the mountains has me still in the garage, but think it'll be time to bust out soon. Moved up here last year, but so busy getting settled have hardly ridden at all. -Jon |

Riding around Salt Lake.
Yeah, May is probably too early for the really good stuff (high uinta's). some of those mountain roads aren't expected to open till mid June. Having said all that you can probably get some good rides in if you stick to the lower elevations out in the desert.
I can't wait for the snow to melt!!!

There are plenty of open dirt roads south of Strawberry reservoir to Price and Helper, as well as Duschene. Lot's of good stuff out in this state.
