150 miles of twisties!

Well our "Twisty Riders Scoot Club" wanted a little challenge so we went for a long saturday ride. We met up for a quick breakfast in Springfield Mo and then hit the road. We started by heading south east to the corner of the Mark Twain National Forest. Then continued on down to Rockaway Beach Mo.

This is an old tourist town set right on the river. Kind of dead now, killed off by the Branson boom. Had to take a pic in front of the "Free Frog Legs" sign.

Had lunch at Fat Daddy's, the nearby barbecue joint, then headed on to Branson.

We went 151.47 miles, average speed of 31.8 mph, 4:45 riding time, riding 2 - 50cc scoots, 1 - 70, and 2 - 150s. In the whole ride maybe 20 miles of straights, the rest - twists and hills. Making our little scoots earn their keep!

Cool! Seems like a great ride and a good group to ride with. I recognize the Zuma, but what are the other scoots?

Thanks. Yes we are a good and growing club. Just passed 50 members this week. In the last pic the scoots from left to right are a Zuma, a Vento Triton, a Genuine Roughhouse, and 2 Extreme 150s.

I was thinking of videos from different rides.

Is is ok to put scoot rides in the main ride reports section?

2 sections
ride reports for longer then a few days rides and day trippin for the shorter but by no means less adventurous rides

Just make sure the videos are no auto play or ya get the boot
