The Training Wheels are History.

My son Drake and my nephew Dalton learned to ride their dirt bikes this weekend without the training wheels. They both have become very good on bicycles without training wheels, so I figured it was about time they came off the dirt bikes. I'm amazed at how quickly they picked it up. We took the training wheels off my daughters bike as well, but it's not running all that great so she hasn't had a chance to try it out yet. I'm sure she'll pick it up just as fast.

Drake

Dalton

This little guy rode for hours, with only a few breaks for some sweet tea.

I'm really proud of both of them, and just thought I'd share my joy.

That's an awesome bike! Wish I had one of those when I was a kid but I only ever had the pedaling kind...

Both my girls had a hard time with the training wheels...with them on, they were all over the place. Took them off and they were off and riding....The heat the last few weeks have kept them from riding...friends pool is a bit more interesting to them at the moment...can't say I blame them.
