Aoos Lake and the bearís house (Greece)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vjos%C3%AB

Just me, my self and I.

I left Athens in Friday after noon for Meteora, to find my friend Wolf that he has a hotel there.
Wolf is real biker, but he had some hot weather problems.

I forgot my tank bag so I organize my desk like that (it was a stupid think to do)

When I was a kid, I went with my family, in Metsovo to see the bears.
So I thought that it was a good opportunity to visit the place.

But in Metsovo they don’t keep bears anymore.
I was very disappointed!
I ask some teenagers (the last logical human being in the planet) and they told me, to go near to the water spring in the deep night!!!!
I said thank you, and I asked them, if it was possible to see the bears with out be eaten by them!
They find my observation very logical and they indicate to me the correct location of the bear’s reserve.
It was impossible to go in one day, so I said I will be back next week (and so I did)

The young boys told me also that near there in a small village Milia, the have a mummified bear in the central piazza!

I went to have a look and the story was like that.
The people of the village find the bear sick and they tried to help. They put the animal in the school gym and feed it with honey and water.
No help came from the Greek state or other association and the animal dyed the day after.
It was back on the 80s. Today the situation is mach better.
Any way the locals were so disappointed and they thought to keep the bear for ever.

A carpenter with original knowledge and opinions has his “lab” near there. He knows how to manufacture ancient toys.

Next day I went back home, with the clear idea to came back and visit the bears reserve soon.
