TMax Windshield and Backrest Install
A pictorial for those who are contemplating the same....
A size comparison of the stock versus the GIVI touring windshield
After removing the nose tuperware, mirrors and bottom screen (the one over the dash) the windshield is held on by 5 teflon screws (3 across top and 1 on each side) and two hex bolts.
New windshield from front...
Now for the backrest. (Note that this model is the one that doesn't allow for the trunk mount.)
First you have to remove the Tupperware from just behind the seat and apply the template to the underside. You then will drill three 5/8" holes.
After your holes are drilled, insert the rubber grommets and make sure your bushings will fit snug but not too tight. (I had to work the holes just a bit.).
You then remove three hex bolts from under the butt Tupperware. (In the picture you can see the hole where the center bolt goes. You cannot see the two side ones because of the shadow but they are in line with the center one and somewhat obvious.)
Reattach Butt Tupperware and insert bushings (2 long on the outside, short in the center) into the grommets.
Bolt seat down, through the bushings into the frame mounts. And you're done.
Here's the completed work. Took me about an hour and a half for both.

Can someone advise where I can purchase the mirror block off plates for the Yamaha T-Max scooter? I tried sending an Email to a website that listed them but the Email came back as undeliverable.
