So, I just found a great deal on an old FA50 for only 200 bucks...guys says that he has the title, and the only thing the bike needs is a rear tube. I don't know if I really want to buy it or not, so I figure I should come here about it.

I only want a scooter for commuting to school (I know that scooters are usually a lot easier to commute on, and quicker to start up in the morning as well) and for something to lean on if something happens to my one currently rideable bike...or, lemme rephrase that, something to scoot around on as I do some necessary work that needs to be done on my current bike.

Is this a fairly simple machine to operate? Is it fairly reliable? Is it on par with other 50cc scoots? If something breaks, can I use duct tape and bubble gum, or will I have to special order parts from Japan and pay more than the bike is worth for them?

Thanks.
